Ballet Recital

 

 

 

Claire had her ballet recital this past weekend.  She loved dressing up and performing her "Teddy Bear Ballet".  The highlight of the show for us was when she kept waving to us and searching the audience for more of her adoring fans.

We had a busy Easter filled with egg hunts and family.  Claire had a blast and for once the weather cooperated a little bit.  At least we didn't have to wear winter coats over Easter dresses.

Last (Gasp) Day of School 2012

Claire's last day of school was this week.  She had a great year - and made alot of progress from September when she cried when we left her to now.  According to her end of year report card, "Claire is an efficient worker... and a joy to have in class."  Here's hoping "efficient worker" doesn't mean "races through her school work". 

More Christmas

 

 

 

Here's a few more from Christmas.  Claire was super excited for Christmas this year.  She insisted on putting out cookies and water for Santa ("Water is better when you're thirsty, Mom") and putting them on the floor by the fireplace so he'd be sure to see them.  We all had alot of fun this year.

So, I'm a little behind on my blogging.  I finally emptied the camera of pictures today and found some gems.

I'm terribly behind on posting pictures from December - the pictures are all on my camera still. One of these days I will get caught up, but in the meantime, here are some pictures from Claire's snowman building extravaganza yesterday. She gets super wet playing in the snow, but refuses to come inside. She had alot of fun.

Playing in the Leaves

 

 

 

 

We had a beautiful fall. The leaves were so pretty and the weather was fairly mild. Claire loved playing in the leaves while they lasted. They're mostly gone now. Bring on Christmas!
