I'm home today with a recovering little girl. She needed to stay home today, but is really feeling much better. I had the grand plan of getting out my cookie cutters to play this morning.

Despite Rumors to the Contrary

She really does have hair! It's so light and fine... sometimes it doesn't seem like Claire has too much hair. But really, when you gather it all up into a cute little pony you can see exactly how much hair the little one has developed in the past year.

Go Cubs Go!

 

In honor of today's home opener against our friendly neighbors from north of the border, Claire picked out her clothes so that everyone would know her true colors - Cubby Blue! Today was a banner day for Claire, a Cubs win and an orange popsicle to celebrate!

The Egg Hunt

Claire had an exciting day! She really got the hang of the egg hunting... though in her typical hoarder fashion, she wouldn't put the eggs in a bag to carry, nor would she allow anyone to help her. In a move not often seen in these parts, the egg hunt was actually outdoors. Claire may not again experience an outdoor egg hunt until she's got children of her own!
